Following are the difference between ROM and RAM.

	RAM	ROM
Full form	RAM means random access memory	ROM  means read only memory
Storage	RAM is a temporary Storage	ROM is a permanent Storage
Access	RAM is accessible memory. You can modify the data. You can read write or removed the data	ROM can only be read by CPU but, the data cannot be modified in ROM.
	RAM is a read-write memory	ROM is a read only memory
Types	There are basically two types of RAM Static RAM and Dynamic RAM	There are five basic ROM types ROM PROM EPROM EEPROM Flash memory
Data hold	ROM can hold data without power	RAM cannot hold data without power
